The 45L – Energy Efficient Home Credit seems unknown amongst home builders, resulting in masses amounts of money are being left on the table in the form of federal tax credits/refunds.

There is a deadline approaching for this federal program on 4/15/2025. 


Builders that don’t file will lose the refunds/credits for the homes built in 2021. This program goes back only 3 years of homes built… each year a new year emerges and a past year falls off. File every year from 2021 going forward until 2035!

 

Donna Abreu with Credit Refund Experts will provide details of the program, explain what is needed to qualify and how to file. Everyone in CA already qualifies since building codes have become so strict for energy efficiency.
