Big changes are here—and compliance is not optional. This workshop will walk you through the latest Cal/OSHA updates impacting job sites in 2024 and 2025. Whether you're in framing, finish work, or anywhere in between, these updates could affect your operations, training protocols, and required documentation.

Presented by:
Brian Laney, EPIC Insurance Brokers

What We’ll Cover:

  • Fall Protection (Effective July 2025): New 6-ft rule replaces 15-ft threshold for most framing tasks.
  • Indoor Heat Illness Standard (Effective July 2024): Applies when indoor temps exceed 82°F—includes heat logs, training, and cool-down protocols.
  • Workplace Violence Prevention (Effective 2024): Who must comply, what training is required, and how to prepare for inspections.
  • Wildfire Smoke (In Effect): When air quality deteriorates, employers must follow strict monitoring, planning, and documentation requirements.
  • Jobsite Docs Checklist: Know what needs to be posted or on-site—permits, safety plans, written programs, and more.
